God is omnipresent! This is already taught to children in schools! And for those who still believe in God, it is so common and so obvious that not for once do they find it necessary to think properly if they really know what they are saying.

But if they are occasionally asked to explain how they think of it, then their wisdom suddenly ends and they themselves recognize that knowing the word ‘omnipresent’ does not mean having knowledge of its meaning.

Human beings have the word, but not the understanding. And that, after all, is the main point in the matter. Knowledge itself is useless where understanding is lacking! Human beings know the meaning of “omnipresence”. But knowing the meaning is not yet understanding, not grasping the meaning.

I therefore refer to my Lecture “Life”. God is Life! He alone! Everything else is only the sequence of movements, which only comes into being through the pressure exerted by the Radiation of Life.

The human being, who in fervent prayer implores the obtaining of something, obtain by his attitude the connection with the place from where help can come to him. I have already said this once in my explanations of the effect of prayer. By prayer, however, one should not think of request, but of adoration, worship, and veneration! Every deepening of this kind by the human being is nothing more than a search for connection! A search for connection with Light, Purity, and Life! The desires, the longing of the human being expand in the process. He probes spiritually the Luminous Heights! And if he really searches in earnestness, then he finds, as Christ promised. He finds the connection with Life. But only the connection, not the Life itself!

Now, such is also the process when human beings will call upon the Son of Man. In strong and pure longing, they find in spirit the way to Him. As soon as they stand on the right path, then they also feel His presence; those who are allowed to see spiritually, see Him even before them, living, yes, often speaking and responding to what oppresses them strongly.

In their pure longing, the supplicants find the way to Him. Memorize this! He does not go to them! And so it happens that at the same time thousands of people in the Universe are talking to Him, seeing Him also before them, according to the Nature and the Law of the Light, chastising or helping, and He Himself ... feels nothing of it; nevertheless, what these people see or hear spiritually, it actually happens! And He is not affected by it.

If all creatures in the whole of Creation were to seek connection with Him in the right way, at the same time, they would all feel Him, they would all receive what they longed for according to the earnestness and purity of their prayer; some would see Him, not only in all parts of the earth, but simultaneously in all parts of the cosmos; yet, He cannot be wearied by it, He will never be weakened by it... because in Him is Life which does not perish, but which, renewing itself, remains eternal, in a word: because “He is”!

Around Him revolve the human spirits, in their becoming, maturing or dissolving. Each one of them can find the connection with Him, at any time, if only one is willing to search sincerely.

During the Judgment, however, this connection is imposed on everyone, because of one’s existence as an earthly human being!

On coming into being on Earth, the human spirit entered and stand simultaneously in all kinds of Creation. And thus, all things in this Creation enter immediately into close connection with him. No gap, no obstacle can stand in the way of the penetration of His Radiations. He thus also transmitted them into the planes of Ethereal Matter and into the planes of Dense Matter! So that all may be judged by them!

So, you only find in prayer or serious searching a path of connection to God, and that is what makes Him seem omnipresent as you had thought until now. Even a wicked man also finds a path of connection to Him quickly, for his intuition is in fact attuned to God, even if with evil intent. This explains the many examples where such a person is quite often struck down at that very moment of an iniquity or soon afterwards. He finds a way of connection and the Living Force acts upon him quickly. That it is triggered in him and annihilated him should be quite understandable to everyone. This is why such miracles occur, of which ignorant fanatics want to see arbitrary punitive acts of God, when in reality this is and remains the effect of firmly established Laws!

Thus, omnipresence has also been misunderstood! Omnipresence is perhaps best described by the words: always present! Therefore, to be found at any time, if one is looking.

The outward result of the process has only deceived human beings. They proceeded from the wrong principle of their thinking that God cares about them personally, that He cares for them and surrounds them with protection. They did not think that they themselves should strive to establish the necessary connection which they had always done unconsciously in true prayer, and in accordance with the Laws of Creation. They did not want to believe that only surrounded by the Laws of God in Creation which, in self-acting, automatically trigger every reward and every punishment.

To be omnipresent means, strictly speaking, nothing more than to be able to be reached from every part of Creation.

But this too can only be accepted with reservation, for it is true to say literally: “Before God all things dissolve!” There is a gigantic gulf there! Not a single being is able to come directly before God, and thus to reach Him, unless He Himself comes directly from God! This is only possible for two: the Son of God and the Son of Man. All the rest would and must immediately dissolve, and thus could never remain conscious before Him.

So, it is only possible for the human spirit to find the path of connection to God! And this path of connection is, according to the Fulfilment and the Proclamation for all eternity, the Son of Man, as He was promised, as the eternal Mediator. That is why the human spirit always meets him in every case of earnest seeking! And through Him the help is given to him in reciprocity to which the seeker has truly attuned himself!

On this account, the Son of Man appears to mankind as omnipresent, which means that, he, the human being, reaches Him when he asks rightly; he finds Him! This has exactly the same effect as if the Son of Man were at home; for at such times, He is actually connected with him by a path of radiation, which also shows him the image of the Son of Man.

Therefore, attribute everything that happens to you to your activity, for only in you alone is the mysterious lever that decides your destiny, your every experience. As you set the switches, so will the train of life lead you! Never forget this, for the experience of each moment is very closely linked to it!

But the Son of Man is! He was placed by God in the Creation as the Force of His Force! You revolve around Him, and whatever reaches you from Him, whether it be love or rejection, you create for yourself by your own attitude! He stands before you at all times, when you earnestly seek Him and call Him in pure prayer; for in this way you walk with your spirit on the path of connection to Him and see or feel Him. It is in this Living Law lies the meaning of omnipresence!
